Xbox one controller broke while doing controller updates.

So I restarted playing xbox recently, and then I had to do a bunch of updates. Everything was fine, I could play some of my games and talk back to some of my friends.

One day my xbox told me to do the controller updates. I started updating my controller, until my cable, connected from my controller to the xbox, got disconnected for some reason. Until that moment, my controller died. Couldn't open it back.

NOTHING to do. It just doesn't open. I've been making researches on the internet for about 5-6 hours on how to fix this issue. I tried everything (I believe), and nothing seems to fix it. Removing batteries, changing batteries, trying
to charge it up with the cable, changing cable, and other bunch of stuff.

With that being said, I've been forced to buy a new controller. This is just ridiculous that an update actually killed my controller.

Once I started playing with my new controller, they asked me to do the controller updates. I will not risk to break my controller again. I highly suggest to NOT update your controller until there's a way to fix this.

I have the same issue and it sucks because many others like you and I have it, so I made a giant tread so everyone can let their voice be heard at the same place. Simply comment to it to share your complain.

What? So it breaks once again and he has to buy a new one, sinking even more money into Microsoft? *facepalm*
