    Xbox One controller bricked


    So for Christmas I was lucky enough to receive a new Xbox One controller. I used it for a little while and it worked great. I tried to plug in my headset to talk to my friends and I was having issues talking to my friends. I thought it had something to do
    with the controller update so I plugged my controller in and began to update my controller. Something happened and my update stopped and now my brand new Scuf controller won't even turn on. I've switched the batteries and plugged it in numerous times and my
    control will not respond.

    Xbox One Elite controller not working anymore after (failed?) Xbox Accessories firmware upgrade

    Just used xbox accesories in windows 10 anniversary to update my xbox one controller and now is bricked. This is *** ridiculous.

    As Lexxite said, remove the battery pack and plug the controller directly into the console with a cable. Leave it there for awhile (5-10 minutes, maybe even longer), and it should turn back on."

    • This worked. Thanks. Lol I didn't want to brick my day one controller. Thanks because now I do not have to buy a new one! Xbox One controller bricked :D

    Have you tried removing the power from the xbox itself and letting it sit for a minute and then do a hard reset?
