Xbox One Controller Bluetooth Won't Connect to PC

Hello, I've recently run into an issue with my xbox controllers not being able to connect to my new PC. It was working just fine for a week since I've built the PC and then all of a sudden it wouldnt connect anymore. The sync light will continue flashing,
and removing the device and resyncing bluetooth doesnt do anything. The computer recognizes it as connected, but the controller will stay blinking forever.

I have a Xbox One controller and the new Xbox Series X Controller and they both do the same thing. Using it via USB works just fine, both controllers are updated, windows is updated, I didn't install any new updates.

What's weird is bluetooth works on both controllers on my other PC just fine. I'm not sure if its the new PC bluetooth giving me issues, but I have bluetooth keyboard and mouse and they both work just fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    :)

Will PS3 Bluetooth Headset work with Xbox One?

The Xbox One console doesn't support Bluetooth. That headset won't work with the Xbox One in any way.

The new Xbox One controllers (the ones that come with the Xbox One S) have Bluetooth, but that's only used to connect the controller to a Windows 10 PC through Bluetooth.

Xbox One Controller Won't Connect via Bluetooth to PC

Hi I'm using the new bluetooth model Xbox One controller but it won't connect via Bluetooth to my PC. It was working for me for quite a while and one day it lost sync, when I tried to resync it showed up as just "Input" instead of Xbox One controller
like it had before. It's done the same thing with my other Xbox One bluetooth controller

    Xbox controllers for windows 10

The Bluetooth controllers don't come with an adaptor, is has Bluetooth built in. The device it connects to need to have Bluetooth to work, if your PC doesn't then you need to get a Bluetooth adapter for the PC.

The wireless part of the controller works on a unique frequency only for the xbox controllers, so it won't work with WiFi, so for your PC to use the Xbox Wireless part, you would need the Xbox Wireless Adapter.

XBox Elite Series 2 unplugged from PC using USB won't auto connect to Bluetooth

That doesnt make any sense. Why would you design a bluetooth protocol on your own OS that didnt auto connect?
It should auto connect. My controller does.

The only time my Xbox One controller won't auto connect is when I've connected it to my gaming PC via USB to charge the battery. After this I have to re-sync the controller. But I only have to do this for the duration of the battery charge. My controller
auto syncs first time from Windows boot up.

The issue is that the controller has two wireless protocols. It does not use Bluetooth with the wireless gaming receiver, or when connected to an Xbox console.

If your controller won't auto connect then there must be something wrong with your Bluetooth hardware on your PC. Have you tried a Bluetooth dongle to test this out?

XBox controller disconnects from PC or stops responding

Hi Keith, There are two ways to connect an Xbox controller to a PC: with a USB cable or via Bluetooth.

    Connect with a USB cable

Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB port on your PC.

Plug the other end of the USB cable into the USB port on your Xbox controller.

The controller should automatically connect to your PC.

    Connect via Bluetooth

Make sure your Xbox controller and PC have Bluetooth.
    Activate Bluetooth on your PC.

Press and hold the pairing button on the Xbox controller for 3 seconds.

The controller should appear in the list of Bluetooth devices on your PC.

Select the Xbox controller from the list and click "Connect."

Let me know if the information is still useful.

    Sincerely,
    Marvina.
