  1. Xbox One Controller (Bluetooth) can no longer pair with Android 5.0 phone as before.

Well, I recently bought an xbox one controller with bluetooth technology, I first paired it with an android 5.0 phone and it connected perfectly, then I paired it with a Windows Mobile 10 phone and it also connected very well, in the end I paired it with
a Windows tablet 10 Anniversary and indicated error when trying to connect by bluetooth, I followed a tip of updating the firmware of the control through the Xbox Accessories app, when finishing the update try to pair it again with the tablet and finally connected
    correctly.

The problem comes when I try to connect again to the Android 5.0 phone, it shows the following message: "Could not pair with Xbox Wireless Controller because of an incorrect PIN or passkey".

I already did the process of unpairing and re-pairing, but the result is the same. I even did Clear Data and Clear Cache from Bluetooth Share and even made a Reset Factory on the phone and without success.

Has the firmware update been on the controller, which caused the problem with the phone?

P.S. With the exception of the Android 5.0 phone, the controller still works perfectly with the Windows 10 tablet and the Windows Mobile 10 phone.

How can I solve that? Any suggestion? Has someone else ever happened to you?

    :)

  3. Xbox One Controller won't connect to my Sony Xperia Z3+

    Hello.

I recently purchased the new Bluetooth Xbox One Controller for my PC as well as for my Android and to use as a second controller for my Xbox One that I'm buying in the future.

I have no issues for my PC as I'm connecting it through a wire and it's working absolutely fine.

However my issue is connecting the Xbox One controller to my phone, my phone can "detect" it through a wire and provides power to it, however it doesn't register the inputs at all. The controller doesn't see my phone as a device that it can send inputs to
through a wire so it remains off when it's plugged.

Another issue with it is that it doesn't connect through Bluetooth either. When I try to pair both devices, my phone gives me an error saying something of an incorrect pin.

Is there a known issue? It works fine with other devices, but not mine and it's extremely annoying.

The controller is all updated and my phone is all updated.

Thanks for any help you can provide

    Hey there ToroidalCobra92,

Bluetooth is actually not supported on Mobile Phones with the Xbox One controller, in some cases it can work, but there isn't a specific guide to troubleshoot it. It's designed for Windows PC's ,Tablets and Laptops. So we don't have any real steps to offer,
but you can try this guide and see if it helps! Connect and troubleshoot Bluetooth on your Xbox One Wireless
    Controller
    .

    Hope it helps!

Connect your Xbox Wireless Controller to your Android device via Bluetooth

Follow these steps to pair your controller to your Android device using Bluetooth:

    1. For best performance, update your controller

    2. Turn on your Xbox Wireless Controller by pressing the Xbox button.

    3. Press the controller
    Connect button
    for three seconds and release.

    4. On your Android device open Bluetooth by going to Apps > Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > Turn On

    5. Once your phone’s Bluetooth is on, a middle size window will appear on your phone showing the name of nearby Bluetooth devices that are active for pairing

    6. Select your Xbox Wireless Controller from the list.

    7. Once the Controller has successfully been connected, you will see the words ‘Connected’ appear underneath the Xbox One Controller indicating that the Bluetooth has successfully paired with your
    android phone.

Note: Some Bluetooth controllers support various modes. If your controller is not pairing or working properly, you might try switching modes to see if this improves your experience. However, not
all devices and controllers will be compatible, so certain functionality may or may not work.
