    Xbox One Controller Battery Status

Is it just me, or does someone else find it annoying that the Xbox One doesn't tell you how charged your controller batteries are? Its infuriating to be on an awesome kill streak in Battlefield 4 just to have my controller randomly die and not turn back
on. Like what happened to the Battery Status Bar from the 360? That little notification bar was super handy for me. Would it kill Microsoft to add that little feature onto the Xbox One?

    :)

    Xbox One Wireless Controller Batterystatus

Well, the Xbox 360 use to show battery status when you pressed the guide button, so the most logical place to implement it, would be within the Game Bar, that's used now when you press the Guide button on the XBox One Controller.

Any indicator would at least warn you, currently if your battery is low the controller just Shuts off, no warning.

It blows my mind that wireless controller for windows is such an after thought, they would overlook something like Battery Status.

No Battery Status - Windwos 10 - Xbox One Wireless Controller

    Hi,

im using the newly released xbox one wireless adapter for Windows 10 which is connected to the xbox one Controller with Play and Charge battery. Unfortunately neither the XBOX App nor Windows 10 shows me the battery Status of the Controller.

Please consider this in a future update for Windows 10 / Xbox app.

    Thank you.

I am suprised they left alot of things out that are just plain common sense to add at launch. There was a youtuber I was watching on YouTube, he was complaining about putting his one controller on charge while the console is off and it was turning on the
system. The little things can be the most annoying I suppose.

Doesn't the rumble stop on the controller when the batteries are getting low? So in BF it should be pretty easy to tell if it's getting low.

  9. It's odd that they omitted it but it doesn't bother me personally. I plug my controller(s) in every night after gaming regardless of battery life, so I doubt I'd ever even see the indicator if they add it Xbox One Controller Battery Status :)

Also, I'm using a Plug and Play Kit, and I'm used to checking for that last bar of battery life before I reach for my charge cable. I rotate two charge packs as needed, charging one as I use the other, and its become a hit or miss without the charge level
meter. It doesn't entirely bother me that's its gone, but it would be nice to have back. :/
