    Xbox one controller and Wi-Fi connection disconnecting at the same time


    My controller and Wi-Fi are disconnecting from my Xbox one at random times. The controller will disconnect, and then the Wi-Fi connection will disconnect, making online gaming impossible. I have tried resetting the controllers, Xbox one, and router, but
    nothing has resolved the issue. I have also used two different controllers with the same issue. I am playing on an original 500gb Xbox one with a standard controller. I have an At&t U-verse router. I have not had problems with any of these before now.

    My Xbox one keeps disconnecting from the internet no matter where I'm at no matter if I'm the only thing on the Wi-Fi and any different router or any of my friends routers even though there Xbox ones don't do it and anytime this happens my controller disconnects
    also even at full battery it acts like its not connected to my Xbox at all after a few minutes the internet will reconnect and so will my controller at the same time

    Won't even let me choose my Wi-Fi to connect to Xbox Live

    I just purchased a Gold membership for Xbox Live and I keep trying to sign into the Wi-Fi and when I choose the Wi-Fi I want to sign in to, it jumps to "Wired Connection" and won't allow me to enter the WEP for the one I want. I tried choosing different
    Wi-Fi's and it still jumps me back to "Wired Connection". The Wi-Fi is working fine for the computer and my phone so I know it's not that. I've tried a different controller, turning it off and then back on, and it does the same thing. I can't even get far
    enough to test the network connection. It's really frustrating.

    It's possible that there is a hardware issue happening with the console that needs to be fixed. Have you tried to use these controllers and WiFi with another console to see if that worked without any issues?

    The issue seems to have sorted itself out, but I will let you know if anything changes.

    And yes, I have two Xbox one's in my house using the same wi-fi and the other one isn't experiencing any issues.

    Had the same issue with the same error code. Just disconnected from my Wi-Fi, typed in my Wi-Fi password and connected again. Working fine now.

    I've tried a Ethernet cable, but the Internet keep disconnecting with the controller.

    What can it be? The Wi-Fi card? Can I buy the Wi-Fi card online?

    Xbox Controllers disconnecting and reconnecting constantly.

    If you remove the batteries from a controller and connect it to the console via USB, does the same thing still happen?

    One cause of controllers disconnecting when being used wirelessly is a faulty Wi-Fi card, as that also handles controller connections, but if it's happening with controllers connected via a USB cable as well, it won't be that.
