xbox one controller 1 scec power on then shutdown

Hello it turns on my controller for 1 seconds when i click on xbox symbol then it turns off again

if i hold it and click it it stays on and i can click on button and it work on console but when i release my hold on the xbox symbol the controller turns off again

can someone help me?

Screen auto-dimming after 10 minutes

Doing a full shutdown fixed it for me. When you use the xbox controller or the power button on the front of the xbox it goes to sleep/hybernation. Doing the full shutdown completely spins down the xbox operating system clearing all drivers from memory
and reloading them. This is a common problem with sleep/hybernation on all systems including xbox.

The fix:

Go to Settings > All Settings > Power and Start Up > Turn off or restart > "Full shutdown". Then power your xbox back on.

 

Having issue please read carefully.

I have done the following 10 times each. This is not an exaggeration.

1. Power cycle by holding power button until complete shutdown.

2. Unplugged power cord.

3. Combo of 1&2

4. Reset everything multiple times and router, also used different controllers.

Here is the issue. I load the Xbox up and it goes to normal screen after sign in I try to load either app or game it does then freezes and says Cortana took to long to load. I have tried with and without the Kinect. Every time I try it won't load then freezes
my controller on the home page and controller no longer works unless I hold the homeboy on the controller which only allows console shutdown or controller shut down. After I exit that the controller stops working unless press it's home button which again
only allows those two actions.
