Xbox One continuous updates

Every week Friday rolls around and my xbox1 needs an update. After all said and done, resigning in and such 1 hour or more is gone. Then all my games need updated. I haven't been able to play a single game in over 6 months.

I've tried skipping updates but then I cannot play online. Is there a way to completely disable updates all together? Or at the very least have it update while it's in sleep mode like every other device on the planet?

I'm aware that new updates occur with new games but including this new update, that's 70GB in a bit over a month (4 updates). I'm really don't know if this is normal or is there something wrong with my console (memory issues) or game downloading problems.
I'm wondering if someone else out there is doing the same amount of updates. I have tried to contact Support with no luck

That normal with games they been fixings alots of stuff in blaxk ops multilayer and battle royal black out the add alots stuff

That sounds about right. New games lately seem to update more often. The developer fixing things as well as updates and add-ons.
