Xbox one constantly signing out of my profile as soon as I sign in

power cycling the console by holding down the power button on the console for ten seconds. If this does not resolve the issue, we recommend

removing your profile and downloading it back to the console. If someone else is using your account, you will get a notification that you are signed out somewhere else as soon as you sign in to the account. Be sure to let us know the results!

Hi Steelwand and thank you for the reply. Yes we have tried the above and the problem is, it doesn’t matter which one i set as the home xbox; as soon as i soon my profile into one xbox it signs it out of the other and everything on the kids family member
profiles stops working saying they are not connected to xbox live. This includes xbox chat which immediately stops.

I thought family member profiles could still be used at the same time on the home xbox even if the main profile (mine) was signed into another xbox at the same time.

It doesn't seem like it is a hardware issue. I wouldn't think about of sending in your console for repair, as there are many solutions that may fix the problem.

Assuming you are using an Xbox 360, I want you to do three things.

1). Delete your profile.

To do this,

Navigate to the Settings tab from your Xbox Home Screen. Click on System. select Storage and click on Hard Drive, click on profiles, and select the profile that is causing issues. Now click delete, and select delete profile only.

2). Clear your system cache -

To do this,

Navigate to the Settings tab from your Xbox Home Screen. Click on System. select Storage and Highlight the Hard Drive, press Y on your controller and select Clear System Cache (Don't worry, your personal content will not be deleted).

Now Shut off the Xbox completely, and turn it back on.

3). Re-download your profile

To do this,

On the Xbox Home Screen, navigate to the Social tab, click on Sign in or Out, scroll all of the way to the right. Select Download profile and follow the on screen prompts. Make sure the Save Password is checked in the box, if your on a personal Xbox.

Thanks for the suggestion. I used the guide menu and signed out of my account. I then was able to access the dashboard. I cleared the cache and signed back into my user account and it froze again without loading the dashboard.

I tried signing out again and got to the dashboard. I then signed in under my wife's profile which is not connected with an XBox Live account and was able to access the dashboard still. However, as soon as I sign into my profile or restart the console the
dashboard freezes.
