    Xbox One Constant Lag On Multiplayer


    Hi, I'm having issues with the xbox live multiplayer. Every game i get into on Call of Duty i have a constant 1 bar which makes it unbearable to play and this has never happened before up until last night. I have unplugged my router and modem multiple times
    to see if that was the issue but it wasn't. I went on my xbox 360 to see if i was having issues on there but everything was perfectly fine so i know its not an issue with my router or modem. I've never had this issue before and it just randomly happened last
    night and has continued throughout today so if someone can help me fix this issue it would be greatly appreciated!

    How good does multiplayer 2 vs 2 and more work?

    Is the lag a constant problem? Are there lobbies for different sized teams in multiplayer?

    Lagging in multiplayer games, constantly saying poor connection to host server.

    NAT type is open and have 5/5 bars. Constant lag when playing multiplayer. Download speed is so low... around 3mb/s.

    Appreciate if you an answer a few but valuable questions, so that we can have a better understanding of your situation.

    Please read:
    forums.xbox.com/.../1621667.aspx And post back in full detail (the bits in bold).

    Can you also tell us if the lag you're experiencing is only related to the Call of Duty game (Advanced Warfare?), or if it spans between different titles.

    If you haven't already, power cycle your console by press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for approximately 10 seconds.

    When the console has been completely powered off, unplug the power supply for your console until the LED light on the power supply is unlit.

    Plug everything back, and turn on your console.

    That is the biggest problem with this game. Most things I can put up with. The constant lagging and rubber banding is not. I have no other problems with any other multiplayer game but the net code in this game on console is the worst. I can't speak to what
    it's like on ps4 as I don't own one but from what friends that do have told me, the lag and rubber banding is just as bad over there.

    What Xbox console do you have?
    Xbox One, Xbox One S or Xbox Series X/S

    And, what did you tried so far to fix this?

    Hello Nathan L! I'm Kris and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

    Sorry to hear you are getting lag in games. It might be the HDD is starting to wear out. You could try resetting Xbox keeping apps and games and see if that helps.

    it has constant debilitating lag on the ps3 i would advise the 360.
