Sorry for the issue with your console. If the buttons are not working on your console it will be a repair. You can set one up at

device support. When you do it on the website you can see if it is in warranty also.

Thanks for keeping us updated. Are you able to play any movies that are on disc? If you are having issues with discs playing and ejecting, the disc drive could be on its way to stop working altogether. We recommend to try the new disc of Far Cry in another
Xbox console. If it works fine in that one, then most likely your console will need a repair.

As long as the DVD drive in the console is still working correctly, ejecting the disc to end a game should have no ill effects. The console will spin the drive down to a complete stop before ejecting the disc. Accessing the mini guide and going to dashboard
that way is still the better option though.
