Xbox One Console updates every morning

For the past 3 or 4 months my Xbox One Console will have a major update every morning around 4-6am. This is very annoying as I work nights and when I get home around 3am I want to play games or watch Hulu but I am stopped by message saying it's time to update!
And I update every time it always takes so long. I'm sick of it and I'd really like some help. I'm sure Microsoft isn't updating every day.

Every Monday I build anticipation up in myself.

They get posted online and on the console every Tuesday morning. I also post a thread for them every week as soon as they update on my end.

 

Xbone needs updating every time I power on

Hi I have an issue where every time I turn my xbox one on it need to do a console update. I dont keep it in standby mode to save power in the house. Has anyone else have or had this problem? It kinda sucks going to bed and waking up the next morning and
powering on my console to an update every time, any help would be appreciated. Thank you

 

yes they dont update every day it may say that but xbox dont update like evryday but they do update when is nessary

 

I assumed that. I just wish my console wouldn't update every morning I don't know what's wrong. I don't have any other issues. I feel like I'm the only person having this issue.

If a console is in the Xbox Insider program then it may receive multiple updates in a short space of time. Can you please confirm if your console is in the Xbox Insider program?

 

No I don't believe my console is in the insider program as I don't even know what that is. But here I am. 5am with yet ANOTHER update. It's so awful. I can't do anything.

 

I'm sorry actually I think this Xbox is in the insider program, I bought it from a friend and he never removed the console, but him and i don't speak anymore so how do I get rid of this crap lol

Can you try going to the store on the console and download an app called Xbox Insider Hub, once you have downloaded this app on the console please follow the instructions below and you should be able to remove it from the program yourself. Please note it
may take a couple of days for this process to complete.

1. Download and launch the Xbox Insider Hub on the Xbox One.
2. Navigate to Settings > Manage Devices.
3. Select the current console.
   1. This will be marked “(current)” and will appear at the top of the list.
4. Select Done.
