Xbox One console - Unhappy Customer!

Hi



I have had an xbox repair merchant take a look at my Xbox One as it had an issue with the wifi only to find out that it is non repairable.



The machine had to be restored to factory settings as there the xbox would not pick up WiFi and then when setting it up the xbox said that there was an issue
with the wifi hard wear and would not go any further into the set up.



The repair merchant replaced all the relevant parts and did many other tests and said that the machine will not work and that it is the motherboard not communicating
as there is nothing wrong with the wifi parts. (A new motherboard costs more than a new machine)



I have had this machine for 2 years and it has broken and it is beyond repair unless I want to spend hundreds of pounds trying to get it repaired, I am extremely unhappy with the service
that Xbox as a whole has offered and would expect a console to last much longer than this.



Most annoying part of it all…….

I cannot even use the machine just to play games as the set up does not let you go past the wifi option (what if you didn’t have wifi/internet??) I cannot
believe I can’t even use my console just to play games!



I tried to look for a replacement hoping they had come down in price since they launched years ago and since the xbox one S is now out just to find they
are the exact same price so I am on a now win situation here.



I would like to make this a formal complaint.

I am absoutley outraged by the way Microsoft has left me as a customer down. I paid for a $50.00 pre paid card and it didn't work. I take it to the store I purchased it from and they said, they can't return/exchange pre paid cards. The employees
takes my card and throws it in the trash. After arguing eith Her, and her manager of the store. They said, I need to contact Xbox and need to leave. I call Xbox now. My customer service rep was ABSOUTLEY AMAZING! only thing positive about this. He
tried to help me but MICROSOFT XBOX would not help me at all. So, I'm now out $50 and I'll never get it back. Microsoft is the worst company in the world and I will be posting this all over social media.

Who is this "Xbox repair merchant"? Did you ship your Xbox in for a service repair, or did you bring it to somebody local?
