Xbox One Console Sync Button Issues

My sync button no longer works on my console. The weird part isi t will just randomly start searching repeatedly in spurts at random. My controller is connected and nothing interferes with my controller, but if I would want to sync a new paddle, I can't....or
just wait for the random sync spurts.

This issue just started to occur about 2 weeks ago. I have an external hard drive connected and I've tried hard resets and all of my hardware is up to date.

Help?

If you have a cable for the controller try attaching it to check for an update.

Also, make sure you're close enough to the console so it doesn't lose sync

Sorry to hear you are running into these problems with the console. Since you have already attempted to hard reset the console, another thing that I would advise would be to perform a

Factory Reset While Keeping Games & Apps. This will save your games & apps but will remove your accounts so be sure to have all accounts login information so that you can log them back in.

Try removing the account from the console, doing a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on, and then re-adding the account.

Well i just got around to doing the factory reset and now it's just at a blank screen when i try and click continue.... ImI going to let it sit over night and hopefully something will show up on the screen.
