Xbox one console keeps turning on.

Searching these forums is a nightmare, so if this is a repeat question, please reply with a link to the answer...

After I turn off the console, it will turn back on after about an hour. I have checked to make sure that it is NOT set to sleep, it is set to actually turn off. I have also double checked to make sure it's not trying to update something. I never allow it
to automatically do anything. I have removed the batteries from the controllers, so I know they are not the issue. Nor is the Kinect hooked up. The only way I have been able to keep it from powering on is to unplug the *** thing.

Disable power button on console

Is it possible to disable the power button on the front of the Xbox One? My toddler loves to press the button and keeps turning the console on/off.

How about any regular pets? j/k As you know that is not normal. From what you have indicated it definitely sounds like there is an issue with the unit that needs to be serviced as you have tried all reasonable solutions. You can start the process here

My xbox keeps turning on and ejecting disks randomly people have had this problem since 2013 sorry for my language but i feel this is the only way i can express my anger GET OFF YOUR FAT *** MICROSOFT AND FIX THIS CRAP!

Hey xAJR187x and Janbrook4.

First thing to check is whether you have any USB devices plugged in? If so, please power down your Xbox One by holding the power button down for 10 seconds (or until the Xbox One shuts off completely) and unplug any USB devices.

If you don't have any USB devices but are plugged into a power strip of some sort, try powering down your console and plugging directly into a wall outlet.

If you're still having trouble with it powering on, be sure that your console is plugged directly into a wall outlet. Power adapters and power strips aren't supported and can can also cause power issues.
