  1. Xbox One console issues

About a couple weeks ago, I noticed my Kinect stopped working. I tried everything to get it back working but no luck. Then about a week ago, I noticed my achievements weren't poping up on screen. I went to achievements and looked and they unlocked but
they aren't poping on screen when they unlock. Now I have been playing Halo 5 and everytime I play multiplayer its lagging and when I do get a good game it kicks me out. I have noticed my Hulu is also running slow and stopping. I checked my connection and
everything is good: strong signal, multiplayer connection is good. Im thinking that my Xbox might be going out. Anyone else having these problems. I tried all the troubleshooting I could find and no luck.

    :)

    Xbox One Console Issues

Was in the middle of a game and suddenly my Xbox turned off. Now won't switch back on. Tried taking out plugs and putting them back in, tried switching the plugs to other areas, tried moving the Xbox to another area to test - nothing has worked. Sounds like
it's gubbed, any suggestions what to do?

    Xbox One Console Issues

I purchased my console a few days ago on Thursday and it worked beautifully up until Tonight (Saturday) and it's quickly getting worse! I started playing need for speed rivals and everything loaded fine until I actually got into the game and started driving.
I would drive about half a mile from any start point and the music would stop and the map would stop loading and then the game would freeze. I tried multiple start points and even tried resetting the ram by unplugging the power box cable but nothing worked,
I even tried re installing the game itself. Upon doing this multiple times the console itself started getting worse, Apps would crash when trying to open them and then my voice commands started to go such as trying to turn the xbox on saying "Xbox on". It's
now so bad that when I turn on my xbox, the green xbox screen pops up with the logo and then the screen turns black and nothing else happens. I've tried everything possible to fix this and nothing is working. I have no idea what's going on and any help would
be appreciated. Also another thing I should add is that the console is making ticking/scratching noises as if the fan is scrapping something, I know it's not the disc tray issue that many people are having but it happens every few seconds on and off and it's
unsettling. This problem seems to be very unique as I could not find any other issues like this online

    Issues with xbox one console

Hello there @ZOVIETBEAR, I hope everything is going well!

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. I want you not to worry about the situation because I am here to help you out! I believe your console might need either a network reset or just a system refresh. I would like you to go through the following steps to clear the Mac address and then perform a quick power cycle on your console:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

Another thing you should check is your NAT type. I would like you to check your NAT type if open because that could sometimes interfere. to check for the NAT type you can follow the steps below:

Settings > Network Settings > NAT type => It should be open.

If the NAT type is not open, you will need to open some ports with your internet provider. These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work: Port 88 (UDP) Port 3074 (UDP and TCP) Port 53 (UDP and TCP) Port 80 (TCP) Port 500 (UDP) Port 3544 (UDP) Port 4500 (UDP).

In case the issue still persists after the previous steps have been performed here is the official link to all the network troubleshooting steps that can help sort this out for you.

The link: Troubleshoot your Xbox One network connection | Xbox Support

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

I wish you a lovely day, and I hope this helps you out! All the best!

    Kind Regards

    Stay safe, and happy gaming!

    Xbox One Console Issues

This sounds like a hardware/overheat problem, but I don't have a way to confirm this. What CAN suggest is based on similar issues with the 360.

    1) Make sure your console, Kinect sensor, AND power brick are properly ventilated. Nothing on top of, nothing behind, vents unblocked, and non-heat surfaces beneath. IE-Don't put your X1 on top of your cable tuner.

    2) Your X1 needs to be horizontal. It does not stand up like the 360.

    3) Hard reset your X1 by holding the console power light for 5 seconds. You will NOT be able to voice power your console on the first time following.

    4) Check your HDMI cable(s) for poor connections.

I hope this helps. The audible ticking might be fan blockage, which supports the overheat theory. If there is a fan fault, you will need to contact Microsoft or your retailer for console repair or replacement. Here's hoping that the noise is a symptom,
    and not the cause.

    Hi Sachypoo,

The black screen issue is not something that you alone have experienced. Based on what's happening and that you've already tried power cycling, I would suggest setting up a repair order at http://myservice.xbox.com/.

    Controller/Console Issue with Xbox One

I have the same exact problem. Controllers become non-resposive at a random time. Happens no matter what game it is. The controllers firmware is up to date and the batteries are new.

Super frustrating for my kids and by proximity super frustrating for me. I tried connecting controllers via usb. Same result.

Microsoft clearly has an issue if this is happening to multiple users.

    Anyone find a permanent fix???

    Controller/Console Issue with Xbox One

I had a similar issue with mine. what I did to fix it was hooked it up to the Xbox with the controller charger and it started working again.
