    Xbox One Console Issues as well as Issues with Microsoft Tech Support


    I purchased a brand new Xbox One in August of this year from GameStop. It's the 1TB console with The Division. Anyways it's not Dec ember and I'm running into constant issues. It won't sign into Xbox Live, it will auto sign me out, it turns off on its own
    when I eject a disk, it won't sync game data for me to play games, and so many more issues. I've called Microsoft Tech assistance more times than I can count and it's always the same thing. Is your internet working? Yes it's working because that's how we are
    talking on my laptop! Have you tried restarting? Yes a million times! Let's reset your console. 10 millions times resetting it later. Still Doesn't Work!!!! Then it's well you can send it in to us and we will replace it, ok how longs that gonna take? It will
    take 21 business days! ****?!?! It's Christmas time and you expect me to do that?! You're kidding right?! That's gonna take months! Then it's well you can expedite it and have it taken care of sooner, but we will put a $400 hold on your account. Are you serious?!
    For $400 I can go buy a new one and toss this one off a bridge. I mean seriously what kind of customer service is this? If it's not my fault and your tech support can't do their job over the phone then why must I pay $400 for a new system? Who's bank account
    is strong enough to have a $400 hold on it during the holidays? Seriously. Has anyone any guidance out there?

    Cannot connect to XBOX Live

    With so many people including myself that have issues with the update as well as connecting to XBOX live.....has anyone one from tech support acknowledged there is an issue?

    Filed Case Number 1403390248 Regarding Problem with Microsoft Bingo and Server Connection.

    Any chance someone from Microsoft Tech Support might read all the posts regarding the server issues with Microsoft Bingo and update all users regarding how this problem is going to be resolved as well as when.

    Microsoft Case Number 1403390248 has already been filed with tech support, my laptop was tested and the problem still exists. It has nothing to do with WSReset.exe, MSConfig or resetting the app on a personal computer. It is a Microsoft Server Issue.

    We're sorry to hear about the console issues, but if you were looking to get the console serviced through warranty the $400 hold is necessary, if you are planning to do an advanced exchange. This isn't required though if you're doing the standard exchange
    procedure. The 21 days is an estimate and it could arrive sooner. It does sound like the chat and phone teams did go through all of the troubleshooting possible, before recommending the repair. If you'd like to try to troubleshoot it further with me here on
    the forums, I'd be happy to help out. I'd just need a little more information on the issue and a few network details, so please let me know.

    If you'd like to see a change to the return and exchange policy though, that's something you can post your feedback and ideas about on
    feedback.xbox.com. The teams are always looking to improve the console and customer experience and that would be a great place to let your voice be heard by the proper teams.

    It's the strangest thing. My 360 was coming on by itself for about two or three days, but yesterday it didn't come on by itself once, and I had my wireless ctrl set-up to it all day.

    So, I don't know what happened.

    Pressing the center button on the controller should turn on your console, wired or wireless. Unless it's a new wireless controller that hasn't been synced to your console before. If you think that the console is just randomly turning on easy way to elimanate
    the idea of the controllers is to remove the batterys when not being used. If console turns on you'll know something else is throwing the same signal or the console may need repairs. I hope this helps alittle.

    P.S. I'm trying some tests now to see if I can find out what it is *fingers crossed*
