xbox one console is very slow!

ever since the latest patch my console has been very slow, and continuing from the patch before that some of my games either refuse to start,or take forever to start, and when they do they are also very slow. another thing i've noticed is that when i restart
my xbox (hard reset) it takes a while to start up again, and when it does it makes a noise like the 360 does when it starts up, before abruptly cutting off and showing the green start up screen. if i do a factory reset when it gets to the update part it has
a loading circle like the console does when opening up an app, except nothing happens, and then it just instantly finishes, so i believe something might be wrong with my updates, but i've never gotten an error code. either way, my console now is worse than
when i first bought it, and since it is a day one edition it should be much better

Have you tried a cold reboot of your console ? To do so, unplug your Xbox, wait 5 to 10 minutes, then replug it.

it might be a connection issue , did you also reset your modem and router ? what kind of modem and router are you using ? disconnect from internet and hard reset and see how it acts...

tried that, did a factory reset as well, on wireless this time as opposed to hard-wired and ended up getting a e200 error, fixed the error by just turning the xbox off and on again, but then games would not start, now have my xbox in energysaving mode and
am disconnected from xbox live and games are working, will try connecting again later to see if problem is fixed. don't see how my network would be the error though as my xbox was working fine before the december patch

Hey there Meister! 30 seconds doesn't really seem overly long, but here's something you can try to see if it helps. Clear the console update by going to system, settings, storage. Then press the following button sequence:

LB, RB, X, LB, RB, X

Your console will restart after this and you might need to redownload an update. See if that helps at all, though! ^_^

Also check the drive for corrupt files.

Corrupt files can cause it to take ages to load up. I've noticed corrupt avatar files seem to slow load up times by a lot.

Let's start with the basics. Do a hard reset on your console. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the unit powers down completely. Wait about 5 minutes then restart the console and see if the performance improves. Post back and
