Xbox One Console is not responding / Xbox Button not working

Yesterday I used the Xbox application for Windows 10 to type some messages and today I ran into the following problems:

All my buttons on my Xbox seem to work except for the Xbox button itself on the Xbox Controller.

My Xbox always opens up Warframe except for one time when it showed a connection error. (I forgot to check the error code)

I can play Warframe properly but not use the chat properly.

When I open the "Send Message" box in Warframe, I will not be able to use any of the Xbox Controller buttons, only the down button on my D-Pad and moving downwards with my Left Stick will make the Message Bar flash once. It will not do anything else.

The Send Message box does pop-up on the Xbox app for Windows 10, but it only works sometimes. If it does pop-up and I use the down button on my D-Pad or Left Stick it dims the background and prevents me from using the app for a short amount of time and
it also removes the message box.

I also get a message when I restart my Xbox named 'Helaas' (this is Dutch for too bad or unfortunately), which I currently cannot open.

I am not sure if these issues got created by the Xbox Controller, App or Console. So I posted it here.

Xbox one gamepad does not responding. HELP (NO ANSWER IN INTERNET)

Xbox one gamepad does not responding for sync button and it also not vibrating when i plug in usb. Xbox button flashes and gamepad working. (USB not connecting)

xbox one: xbox button not responding

I was playing fallout 4 when i decided to quick save then exit the game. Obviously the only way to exit a game on xbox one is to hit the xbox button to go back to the main screen. I had just done it moments before to upload a clip i created on upload. For
whatever reason it didn't work. This was a wireless controller i tried. I have an older wireless controller so i tried that one as well with no such luck. So i tried my sons wired controller... same thing nothing. I just ended up shutting down my xbox the
button on the front of the console. I did receive a system update earlier today.... should i try updating my controller(s). I also had problems in upload. I couldn't move the cursor over an letters when i went to to add a title to my clip. Any help or suggestions
will be greatly appreciated.

Same problem here on one of my controllers. Connect it via USB and it works fine. XBOX button lights up solid like it is connected, but only XBOX Home button works and console responds like I want to turn it off but the joysticks won't move to select anything.

Thank you for reaching out. Make sure this isn't firmware related by
checking for a controller update on your console. If it feels like the button itself is giving up, you can try creating a

service order if the controller is still within warranty. Hope this helps!

Hi, sorry to hear you're having troubles. Try unplugging your XBOX from the electricity, wait 10 seconds or so and reconnect. If that doesn't solve the issue, then update the controllers. Good luck and hope this helps.

* Please try power cycling both your console and the controller, like this:

- While your controller is on, press and hold its Xbox button until it shuts down.

- Remove your controller's batteries and the Micro-USB cable for a minute or two.

- Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.

- Remove all other external devices from your console's USB ports.

- Unplug your console's power cord for 5 minutes.

- Plug the power cord back in.

- Turn your console on, plug your controller in, and check if the issues persist.

* If this doesn't work, then the next thing to do would be to update your controller. Do you have a different controller we could use to navigate your console's dashboard and update your non-working controller? If you don't, then I'd suggest plugging your controller into a PC and updating it through the Xbox Accessories app.
