    Xbox one console goes to blank screen on tv


    Hi, I recently started having startup issues with my Xbox one. It only started a couple of days ago sometime after the last update. I have already tried to do all the suggested fixes for this (changing around the HDMI, making sure its in right port, low
    res mode, etc) to no prevail. The only way I have gotten around this hiccup with the machine by going to my power surge protector and turning that off for about 30 seconds. When i power back on the surge protector it seems to wipe out whatever issue is happening
    and my Xbox one boots up like normal and I can do everything the system offers. But if I try to turn off the Xbox and restart it again it goes right back to not talking with my TV. Anyone else running into something similar? My TV is a smart Samsung if that

    Hey there. It is recommended that you plug the console directly into the wall, not a surge protector. Try that, if possible, and see if it helps. If you're still running into this, turn the console off, and unplug the power cord from the back of it for 5
    minutes and see if it works.

    Xbox has no HDMI signal, controllers cannot connect. Essentially dead.

    It does sounds like something has happened with the console unfortunately. Before you explore a repair though, let's first have you try this guide for a blank screen issue and see if it helps out:

    Troubleshooting a blank TV screen or monitor while your Xbox One is on     More specifically the steps under "Your screen is blank after you turn on the console."
