    XBOX ONE - Console damaged, sent in, said returned. But Still do not have.


    On the 26th of October my Xbox one console had froze and powered itself off. tried troubleshootijg myself with disconnects of the power and holding the button to hard reset the power supply. After noticing this wasn't working. I contscted Xbox live customer
    support. i was informed that i needed to send it in. They printed me off the label and I sent it in on the 27th. It received at the facility on the 31st, and was sent back to me on the 6th. (after having to bother the hell out of them considering I was not
    receiving any updates on where my Xbox even was. So yes I called about every day.) I recieved the email saying it was being returned on the 6th. Even today. It still says it has not been shipped. FedEX has no information about it. And even the Xbox supervisor
    keeps saying they're going to get it shipped out with one day delivery. But the hilarious part is that was two days ago. And FedEx still has no idea or information on the tracking number Xbox emailed me. I'm pretty disappointed with Xbox. I hope some kind
    of users who are thinking about switching to next gen read the forums and look at the poor satisfaction of there community. I'm sorry Xbox. But i have had nothing but dissatisfaction. i paid half a grand for a console that broke in less than a year. And im
    now sitting on two games that I haven't even been able to play. I obviously bought the new console because I'm a gamer. I will not be trying to talk up the Xbox one anymore after the problems you have caused for me and the speed bumps/loop holes. Thanks for

    XBOX ONE serial number change

    hello

    i have recently had my xbox one sent in to microsoft for repair.

    the console has been returned but has a diffrent serial number so i asume its a replacement.

    do i have to delet my orignal xbox s/n from my acount and add the new one.

    how will this affect my warrenty i still have nine months left.

    They sent the replacement console, without power and HDMI cords, sent mine back with the old console

    I returned my Xbox One S under warranty and I sent the whole system back for a replacement console. They did not send power or HDMI cords with the console, but I sent mine back with the broken one. Now we have a new console with no cords!! What am I supposed
    to do???

    i cannot find a contact phone number so I can get real help with this. Any suggestions?

    Will Microsoft not be able to service my Xbox if there's very minor psychical damage on it?

    The device is still in warranty on that page. the only damage on the console is a small chip on one of the top corners. I understand that physical damage isnt covered by warranty but I sent it in for a crashing issue. So they wont service a in warranty repair if the console has physical damage?

    Hi there!

    Your question is actually pretty hard to answer. If the brick itself is now not working then the Xbox should boot up with another one. That said, if the brick sent a surge to the Xbox it could have damaged the console too. I would suggest going to the link
    below and requesting a power supply. If the console doesn't work with the power supply then they will likely need a new console.

    There was a fake youtube video that said Microsoft give away damaged xbox ones & somehow this rumour spread.

    It is completely untrue,Microsoft do not give out damaged consoles.

    The only way to get one is to buy one for yourself or get someone to buy one for you.You wont get a free console from Microsoft.

    When you do an advanced exchange, MS expect to receive a console with a particular serial number, so in your case, even though you didn't need to replace your console, they would have been expecting to receive your original console, not the console they
    sent to you as an exchange. If you sent the latter back, that can be the reason why they charged your card.

    The same thing happened to me. I had a faulty PSU. I spoke to someone at Xbox support. They said that they would do an advanced exchange and replace the entire package, but just a console on its own turned up, so I returned it and 30 days later, my card
    was charged as I returned a different console to the one they were expecting. Thankfully, I managed to get the money refunded by getting through to a manager at MS, but in my case, I had both the receipt and the tracking number so I could at least prove that
    I had returned a console - just the wrong one as far as MS were concerned.

    As you have no tracking number and no receipt, I don't see what you can do really. Without that, an attorney isn't going to be interested in the case as you have no way to prove that the console was even sent back.

    Exchange Program/small white spots *2 questions*

    I had a 360 repaired and sent back to me with the front plate damaged (Slim model).

    I had to take photos of the box and console and email them off.

    Ultimately, MS said it was UPS's fault, UPS said it was MS's fault.

    Sounds like they sent a reconditioned console mate. The spots could be paint?
