Xbox One console bricked by following directions from tech support

Anyone know a way of contacting Microsoft customer service in the US? I followed the directions from tech support and it resulted in a bricked system. Because it was a launch purchase, it is now out of warranty and they want me to shell out another $115
on top of the $500 I dropped less than 3 years ago. The call center account manager "Michael" was useless. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Left analog stick now drifts.

Its been reported that the April update has caused some controllers to malfunction.

Reports of drifting, lagging by moving in certain directions and pressing of buttons are among the issues. Newer controllers have been working fine and then essentially bricked by the update.

Support recommends doing a power cycle and then unplugging the Xbox One from the power for 5 minutes. Afterward powering on the console via the controller.

 

Xbox preview update error, cannot see xbox preview support option tab on forum

Cannot see xbox one preview support tab after following steps given by xbox support, tried logging in with two browsers no preview tab for support??? I feel really disheartened by the fobbed off approach from microsoft after 13 years of having xbox live
and ££££££ of my hard earned money. Yes I was there from the start and this is how I'm treated when you've bricked my xbox with an update that wont apply...
