It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

Secondly, yes, as a new member I'd expect that, but ive already found a trade off one of my regular forums. Just a friend recomended this place so I thought I'd try it.

Thirdly, dev consoles are different and cant connect to XBL at all. However, doesnt mean devs dont have early access to retail consoles.

And finally, all review consoles are retail versions. Plenty of those exist. Hence how I got mine.Click to expand...

They are banning people but only until release when the console is unbanned.

If the console is banned then there isn’t anything you can do unfortunately. They only ban for serious offenses.

Check your email associated with that account and you should have an explanation there.

Hi there. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about console bans as they are final. If you just bought it, you may want to return it to the place you purchased it. For more info, visit xbox.com/xboxone/consoleban.

Microsoft does not provide specifics regarding console bans. There would not be an email, as if a console is banned, the accounts tied to it are usually not banned.

Is one of the consoles banned from Xbox Live? You can't move profiles or saved games from a banned console to a non-banned one; they'll show as corrupt.

You can also get a console privilege suspension if you keep getting banned/suspended which means any account on that console will have the same punishment as the suspended account,even new accounts.

100 day suspensions & console suspensions are pretty much the final warning & last chance to stop breaking the rules.

Console bans are still a thing. If he hasn't been permanently banned yet, he will most likely be soon.

Console bans don't carry over from console to console so if you get an xbox one for xmas it wont be banned.
