    I'm getting the same issue on PC, but on Xbox One, the app works fine, so for the Xbox One, try uninstalling the app, then do a

    power cycle    , reinstall the app, and try launching the app.

    The Xbox console companion app no longer has that feature, since the app is being replaced by the Xbox app. The only way at this moment to upload a custom gamer pic is with the Xbox One console.

    Xbox Console Companion App won't stream Xbox to laptop.

    The Xbox is an Xbox One S, OS version is 10.0.2261.3446 (xb_flt_2302ni.230208-1530)

    Console Companion App version is 48.89.25001.00000.

    I have no option to update either the console or companion app, yet the app says one of them is out of date.
