    Xbox One Connectivity Issues


    Hello, I’m writing this question because currently I have run out of ideas/options.

    To explain my situation- basically both my controllers are having difficulties with connecting to my Xbox One S. Both my console and controllers are relatively new (barely a year old) and have all worked fine up until this point. I’ll be in the middle of a game and suddenly it will ask me to reconnect my controller, and I am unable to do so. It will not let me even use the home button and the controller practically becomes functionless. I have tried the usual remedies of replacing batteries, restarting my Xbox, and updating my controllers. All attempts to fix this so far have proven futile which leads me to believe that it may be a hardware issue but I’m not sure.

    Also I am able to temporarily fix the issue by re-syncing the controllers to the Xbox but it only works for a small period of time then it disconnects again not long after.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    First console is about a few feet away. Second console is approx. 15 feet. When I use second console the first isn't being used.

    Please try doing a system cache reset. Hold the powerbutton for about 15 seconds and keep it holding even when the one turns off. Wait for the power supply to change the color to orange and then restart the console.

    It's best to use modems which are provided by your ISP rather than get your own. My house has Vodafone NZ, High Speed Cable Internet which does 100mb/s down and 10mb/s up. Sometimes Microsoft servers can be really unfriendly to connect to maybe because of
    your ping size (I'm not American). Our ISP had a technician come over to get us set up and they supplied us with good modems. Microsoft servers are not perfect and we can even put the blame on them. Even the host lags when playing Minecraft on Xbox 360 several
    of my friends said it, I've experienced it too, one of them said it could be a server issue.
