    Xbox One Connection


    I have been trying not for some weeks to get the internet connected on my Xbox One.

    It doesn’t connect to my wireless whatsoever, even though I have my smart tv, phones, computers etc that connect just fine.

    I have tried to do the reset of my Xbox and now my controller won’t connect to my Xbox.

    Any suggestions besides throwing it out the window?

    Will this work ?

    If the PS3 is going surely you can use that HDMI cable and connect the Xbox one to it.

    You can sign into both at the same time. I will be connecting my Xbox to my Xbox one.

    Questions about external hard drive and Xbox One

    When you connect the drive to the Xbox One it will be wiped of all setup information and formatting. Just connect the drive to the Xbox One and it will prepare the partition for you.

    Do you have any way to connect the Xbox to your network through a hard wire? If you can and it works then it might be the wireless card in your Xbox has gone bad.

    There is no Bluetooth radio component in the Xbox One S console itself.

    The controllers connect to the Xbox One S the same way the controllers connect to the original Xbox One: proprietary RF. You could technically connect an Xbox One S controller to an original Xbox One, and an original Xbox controller to the Xbox One S.

    The Bluetooth functionality in the new Xbox One S controller is specifically made for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC with the "Anniversary" update, which has the drivers needed for the controller when connected via Bluetooth.

    Correct, at this time the Xbox One SmartGlass application must be connected to the same home network that your Xbox One console is connected to in order to discover and connect to your Xbox One console.

    @EvoFool, can you double check that you have installed and are running the Xbox One SmartGlass app? This is a new application specifically for connecting to the Xbox One as distinct from the previous Xbox SmartGlass application which is used to connect
    to the Xbox 360 console. Thank you.
