    XBOX one connection sharing trough notebook


    Hello everyone,

    I'm share 1 network connection with the whole building with different hotspots in the building, which means I can't change router settings. It works with a different version of WPA, you first need to connect with the WiFi modem with an ID and a password
    and then your browser opens a page where you log in with your personal ID and password. I have no problem connecting to the internet on my notebook but my Xbox one does not support this way of connecting. So I thought I can share log in on my notebook and
    enable sharing my connection (Windows 8) and send the connection to my Xbox with a lan cable, when I try to connect to Xbox live sometimes I can get connection with internet but I can't connect tot Xbox live, but most of the time it says it can't get and ip
    adress, or it can't connect to the DHCP server, or something about the DNS is unable the convert Xbox live servernames. I already tried to put in manual setting and I also tried to use networkbridging. But none of it works. The internet in the building is
    fast enough btw.

    I hope someone can help me. If you need any information please ask.

    why not just connect your notebook to your big screen?

    and i do not believe there is anyway to connect an XBox to a VPN

    To clarify before you do the things MSB Zane sends you with that youtobe solution, how are you connected with the xbox. is that trough a Modem/Router or trough a connection on your laptop?

    It doesn't matter what game, as long as it plays trough the Xbox Network

    If you are using in game chat, you won't be able to share the chat on the Xbox directly to the stream you will need to stream trough a Pc, but if you play trough a Pc you can use the Xbox game to chat with your wife and then she will be able to share the party on stream and you will have an option on the Xbox party chat to share your audio
