Xbox One Connection Issues

Hey guys,

So recently my Xbox One has had serious Xbox Live problems. I have no issue starting up a game and normally when i first test my Xbox's internet connection at the start it is roughly what it should be (around 25 down and 4 up and latency below 100). However,
once I begin playing a game I am experiencing serious lag as well as being kicked from multiplayer activities at seemingly random intervals. After I get kicked and I test the internet connection my upload is at max 7, download is well under 1, and my latency
has been as high as 2,000. Why is this happening? And what can I do to fix it? I have power cycled the xbox as well as the router and this has arguably made it worse.

This sounds like it will be one of 4 issues.

1. You need a new router from your ISP as that one has software issues.

2. Your ISP may need to refresh your connection on their end to their servers as the connection may have been corrupted and possibly or you may be getting a DDOS attack. Refreshing could potentially fix both of these.

3. You need to go into your settings --> network--> advanced --> mac address --> clear --> reset. This will reset your xbox and reconnect to the router wiping any possible xbox to router connection issues.

4. Finally, you need to make sure you router is 100% open to the port that your xbox is on. To do this you need to login to your router and find what ip address your xbox is using. Then you need to go to your firewall settings and look for DMZ. Plug in your
xbox's ip address and this should completely open you xbox to the internet.

First console is about a few feet away. Second console is approx. 15 feet. When I use second console the first isn't being used.

You have 2 xbox ones on the same network ?....if yes , what kind of modem and router are you using?

Please try doing a system cache reset. Hold the powerbutton for about 15 seconds and keep it holding even when the one turns off. Wait for the power supply to change the color to orange and then restart the console.

It's best to use modems which are provided by your ISP rather than get your own. My house has Vodafone NZ, High Speed Cable Internet which does 100mb/s down and 10mb/s up. Sometimes Microsoft servers can be really unfriendly to connect to maybe because of
your ping size (I'm not American). Our ISP had a technician come over to get us set up and they supplied us with good modems. Microsoft servers are not perfect and we can even put the blame on them. Even the host lags when playing Minecraft on Xbox 360 several
of my friends said it, I've experienced it too, one of them said it could be a server issue.

Does the NAT on COD:AW also show as OPEN or does it show as MODERATE or STRICT
