hello guys need help my controller wont connect to my xbox one but its not the controller as it works in my friends it only seems to work if the controller it right in front of my xbox not sure whats happening here need help

Same issue here on my PC with Xbox One controller and wired connection, a real shame as I like the controller otherwise.

If not go to settings ~ kinect and devices ~ Devices and accessories and controller

If the issue persists, try connecting the controller via USB to help update the controller on the PC.

Is this happening on only one Xbox One, or both of them? as it could be an issue with the console losing connection to the controller as oppose to there being an issue with the controller.

Is there a difference between the Bluetooth on the Elite and the one on the regular Xbox one controllers. My other controllers connect without an issue, but not the Elite.
