    The problem....

    I have an Xbox One that I have tried to connect to the Xbox app on my iPhone 7. It won’t connect though. A year or two ago, I had it working — but now does not work. I have tried it on multiple devices (Android, Windows PC, iPhone, Amazon tablet). It makes
    me think the issue is with the Xbox. I have the setting that allows connections from any device set to “on” and digital assistants enabled for my Alexa devices (which work).

    Here is what happens....

    When I click connect, a wifi icon above the Xbox icon begins flashing/blinking and it says it is connecting. See the two photos.

    However, after 10-15 seconds, it does this:

    This problem has been happening since before December 2019. Any advice or troubleshooting will be most appreciated! Stay safe!

    Yeah, Phoenix_Reins is correct with this, the Xbox console companion app only works with the Xbox One. There is no app that connects to the Xbox 360.

    This app needs to be connected to the same network as your Xbox One to work.

    Hi Dalton,

    Thanks for your update. Have you checked your Xbox App connectivity settings on your Xbox One? These settings affect usability of remote apps for Mobile and Windows 10 Devices. To access them, visit
    Settings>Preferences>Xbox app connectivity on your Xbox One. There you would want to enable connectivity for devices that are signed into a profile on your console or any device with the Xbox app.
