Xbox One connected to network but can't access online features

I've just about had it with this console. Every day, there's something wrong with it.

I am connected to my perfectly fine internet connection, yet I can't access anything online. When I test network connection, everything is fine and dandy. And then, I can't do anything with it.

I've tried hard resetting and it didn't work.

Help, please, before I bash this thing in with a sledgehammer.

Backwards Compatible games say I'm not connected to Xbox live when I actually am

when I try to play backward compatibile games and try to use the online features it says that my Xbox is not connected to Xbox live and says to do the network checks and that says everything is good and the online features work fine on Xbox one games but
not on backward compatible games please help quickly

 

Slight issue I've run into.

Hey everyone, I'm wondering if anyone else is receiving a dialogue box that reads, "Not connected to Xbox live. You are not connected to Xbox Live and will not be able to access this feature." I can't seem to access any online feature for this game. Even
accessing the Halo Channel from the game does not work; however, I can access it from the dashboard.

I don't mind not having access for now, there's enough content without multiplayer that will keep me going for a long time. But I really want to get started on my coop-spree with my friend online. If this is a common issue, then no worries, I'll wait it
out. But if it is isolated, I am really hoping to get this fixed. I am connected to Live, the game simply cannot pick up my connection. The day-one patch is installed, so I'm not 100% certain of what to do.

 

I have the same issue. However when I tried to access Netflix I was given an error and asked to exit or to use offline. Click use offline. you can still stream

 

I wish we could get a reply to this - I'm new to the xbox one, I'm using the free trial month of xbox gold and I have encountered this very problem. I intend on maintaining my subscription but this is appalling. I can download updates, my internet connection
is fine, and my multiplayer is fine - or so I'm told. I was playing online yesterday, the day before that, and the day before that, with absolutely no problems whats so ever.

For a system that I dropped a substantial amount of cash on I'd expect errors like this to be patched, or if its hardware related, for an immediate recall of any boxes experiencing this rather unfortunate bug.

I've tried the hard reset and everything else in between.

 

Usually , a simple sign out and back in to your profile will fix these issues ....sometimes you have to go a littler further and remove the profile and then re add it...

 

I had been dealing with the same issue. Bimnog's suggestion worked.

 

Xbox One writes that it is connected to the network but Xbox Live and online games do not run. Games go only run offline. I tried to restart the Xbox here, connect again, log off and then log profile, and nothing works. Can you help me pls??

 

I am having issues tonight logging into Live. It says I have friends on but shows I am not connected to Live (figure that one out). I can't run a party, run games, or do anything. I have done the hard reset numerous times with no luck. It is currently
a brick. Gotta say, I am getting pretty tired of all the issues with Xbox recently. This console is so slow and problem riddled. I hate to say that considering I have been a huge fan of Xbox for many years. But when you can't play a game day in and day
out, it gets frustrating. And when you go for help, Xbox says everything is fine. Ummmm. no its not. Sorry, just really frustrated with all the issues I have had lately with Xbox.

 

Update on this. I have the newest Preview build which I got on 3/15/16. I tried logging out and then logging back in. When I try to login, I put in my password, then select send me a text to my phone, but I am not able to select Next. The interface will
not allow me to cursor over and select Next. So I am not able to login to Xbox Live. Would love a response on this if this is a known issue with this build and if a fix is coming soon or if I need to reset back to an older build. Would prefer NOT to reset
back.

I am having the same issue as o JohN SiM , I tested the network connection, the multiplayer connection, and they both say "its all good"... yet i can't do anything online!

I even switched between wired and wireless connection and still nothing.
