Xbox One connected to internet, but not showing pins or marketplace

Boomba's solution worked for me as well! My pins and the store/music/vids have been down for about 2 weeks.

 

why are we all thanking someone for a TEMPORARY fix?

This is an issue that needs to be solved. I spent too much money for this "reset" to be a solution.

The clearing cache and mac address is only temporary. It eventually comes back. Is anyone else having this problem?

 

I just did Boombaa's suggested steps and we'll see if that stops it from happening all the time like it has been. As it is I have to reset my xbox once a day to get my pins and the store to show up.

It won't fix it permanently, at least it didn't for me. It would last a few days at most then I'd have to do it again. For what it's worth, my Xbox One ended up dying and I got a replacement (refurb) a week ago today. I haven't had to do this with my
"new" one yet and with the old one I would have had to probably a couple times in that same time period. It seems to me that this means it's a hardware issue of some sort. I won't go as far to say it's related to my Xbox eventually crapping the bed but I'm
curious if anyone has had a similar experience?

 

It's happening consistently because your Xbox isn't clearing it's cache automatically like it should because Microsoft engineers are idiots.

If you shut down your Xboner instead of putting it to sleep this problem doesn't occur.

 

I have the same problem and none of these options worked, it seems to be trying but it wont connect to live. Any other options before i sent it in to Microsoft for the third time!

 

It partially worked for me. Now it won't load my apps at all

 

Didn't work for me either. I did a hard reset, unplugged the block, and the mac/cache clear and its nothing.

 

I have tried everything listed above an nothing has worked, any ideas to help my problem

 

nothing has helped I cant see my friends,can't even go on my profile I don't know what to do anymore

 

Sparky6565's answer shouldn't be marked as a suggested answer as it's not true. My Xbox was turned off after use always.

It's now been four months since I got my replacement and the issue hasn't come back.
