  1. Xbox ONE COMPLETELY Wireless Headset

We are now well into the 2nd year of the XBOX One and still yet to have a completely wireless headset for the latest generation Microsoft system.

I don't know about the rest of you, but when I opened my $560+ Day One edition I had the hope we could soon join the modern era of wireless devices and connect our headsets to this uber expensive piece of technology without the limitations of wires. Boy
was I wrong. Here I am, in 2015 still fumbling with a wired headset.

So, what is the major technological hurdle stymieing us from achieving such lofty expectations? Does anyone know?

    :)

Anyone Notice This on Best Buy's Site?

I'm so over wired headsets or adapters.

I'm probably going to get those completely wireless headsets from Turtle Beach. They're the only ones that are completely wireless but I'm going to wait for reviews just in case.

Connecting a headset directly to the console

There is only one completely wireless headset for the 360, the
    Tritton Warhead
. The Warhead includes wireless sync ability with a 360 console (same as a 360 wireless mic), allowing it to be completely wireless. All other headsets use a cable from the controller to the headset to provide mic support.

Its a license issue. The adopter is made so that Microsoft can give permission to companies that are willing to buy their license to be able to use their product on their console completely wireless. Its not because the technology isn't there yet. So far
only Turtle Beach has bought the license.

Why not make their own like they did for the 360?

It is just bad customer support to not offer a piece of hardware like this, if the reason is they are waiting for 3rd party companies to buy the license and make them.

Can you use the Xbox one wireless headset chat mixer on PC if you have the usb wireless adapter?

Yes, you can use the Xbox One wireless headset chat mixer on PC if you have the USB wireless adapter.

To do this, you will need to follow these steps:

    1. Connect the USB wireless adapter to your PC.
