Xbox One completely shuts down in instant on mode!

Since the June update to the preview members of Xbox One my console has been completely shutting off when I power it down to shutoff in instant on mode. I have my external hard drive attached to the console as well and that too is getting powered off
even though it has its own power source. I constantly have to unplug the power source and replug back in. This is becoming to be a pain because I am having to do it every day 3-4 times a day. Is there some type of patch that will fix the problem? Is anyone
else having this problem?

Did you try to power down completely, in energy saving mode not instant on, so you do a full shut down.

 

anyone notices the surface remains warm even after turining off?

In Instant On mode, the console is just in a low power state when "off". You have to put it in Energy Saver mode to shut down completely.

You can also report a problem by holding in the Xbox button on your controller for a couple seconds and selecting "Report a problem". You can also visit your Preview Dashboard application on your Xbox to view a list of known issues to see if this is affecting
other users.

 

I have reported the issue to the preview member report a problem but I have not seen any other forums with the same issue. I appreciate the direction.
