Xbox one complete bought in store not reflected online

Has anyone else bought the extended warranty for Xbox one in store? I bought the extended warranty for Xbox and kinect in store (Microsoft store). After registering the console on the Xbox myservices website, it does not recognize the extended warranty,
showing that the warranty expires after one year (standard manufacturers).

Is this normal thal that the website does not reflect the extended warranty or did the store not activate it properly (associate it to my xbox one)?

You are right! You bought the "Xbox One Complete bundle" what includes: Xbox One plus 2 games PLUS 12 month GOLD membership! Still in store online for now $699.

 

free adapter for xbox one kinect

I bought my daughter xbox one s yesterday along with a second hand kinect xone from the Game store. I was told I can complete a form to receive a free adapter for the kinect. I have logged in online and registered the xbox one. when completing the form
even though it shows the xbox as registered the form states it is not? very confusing.

 

Not sure about this one. I would call the store directly and if they cannot help, I would contact Xbox Support:

I would assume that you have a can only take the console/accessories back to the store after the initial 1 year warranty is up. Actually works out better for you, as you can just swap out your console instead of waiting for a repair.

 

Had called the store and they said I'm in their CRM system. They said there is a separate system from online and I would be able to bring in my console to the store directly and they would be able to look me up.

Glad that I'm in there, but not fully reassured - shouldn't they somehow be able to connect the two to show one source of warranty coverage?

Any others who have purchased in-store and can check that they have the same disconnect with what shows up online?

TL;DNR version: I'm in the same boat.

Unabridged version:

I purchased my One from the online MS store and then, last week, purchased my extended service plan via the Microsoft Store sales/support telephone number. So not quite the same purchase path as you, but the "Xbox My Services" website reflects the same
information for me as it does for you: only the standard manufacturer warranty associated with my Xbox One is displayed.

This is purely my own speculation, but I have a feeling that the website will only display the warranty that is in effect. If I read the paragraph in the "Microsoft Complete" terms and conditions correctly, the standard warranty is in force and effect until
it expires, at which point the extended service plan then kicks in for the two years thereafter. I guess I'll find out if I'm right in February of 2016. I agree with you that it would certainly be more reassuring if the ESP were listed in association
with the covered hardware, though. I have saved both an electronic and hard copy of my extended service plan purchase receipt just in case.

Here is the quote from the contract term section in the terms and conditions:

"SERVICE CONTRACT TERM – EFFECTIVE DATE OF COVERAGE

1. Coverage for damages to Your Product resulting from Power Surge or, if purchased/ applicable, ADH
begins upon Product purchase date and continues for the Term shown on Your Contract Purchase Receipt.

2. Coverage for a Failure* (as defined above)
begins upon expiration of the shortest portion of the manufacturer’s original parts and/or labor warranty and continues for the remainder of Your Term shown on Your Contract Purchase Receipt."

And the definition of failure in the contract is: the mechanical and/or electrical breakdown of Your Product to perform its intended function including defects in materials or workmanship; occurring during normal use of the Product.
