    Xbox One Compatibility Issues (Non-disc)


    Hi everyone,

    I have this game called Skate 3 I used to play on my xbox 360, and am now trying to play it on my xbox one.

    I bought It off the xbox 360 marketplace a few years back, so It isn't just a simple Put the xbox 360 game disc into your xbox one kind of thing.

    I talked to xbox support, and they said it should come up in 'my games and apps', then 'ready to install', but it doesn't.

    The support dude looked through my purchase history on my xbox account, and can't see where I have purchased the game, even though I have played it on my xbox 360.

    What do I do?

    Please help.

    Playing Xbox 360 games on Xbox One with backward compatibility

    Is it necessary to have owned/own an Xbox 360 for the backward compatibility to work on Xbox One ?

    Currently, digitally, none of the Xbox 360 games Gold titles appear as gold free games and when I try to download them from the Xbox website it asks me for a purchase option when I already had set a purchase option. Does backward compatibility work with
    Xbox 360 disc-base games instead of downloading them ?

    Hi,

    Meaning ( at 99% ) that you didnt use the same account if its not on your purchases history.

    If you bough it on the marketplace , check ALL your emails addresses to see the email from Microsoft about that purchase.

    As soon you find it , check the account you used to purchase the game and put it back on the Xbox one.

    May be you get it on Game with Gold monthly deal? Do you have a Gold subscription now? Try redownload your profile, restart console and sign back. Then go to market and find a game. If you own it, you can install it

    Recently purchased a disc and doesn't work?

    If you see error code 0x87e10024 when inserting a backwards compatible disc into your Xbox Series X or Xbox One console:

    0x87e10024

    This means that your game disc is compatible, but is having trouble being verified for play. It could also mean that you're experiencing an Xbox service outage, the disc isn't compatible with your console, or there's an issue with the disc.

    Hey there,

    Are you able to try other Backward Compatible Xbox 360 discs on your Xbox One to see if this occurs with that one disc or with multiple discs? If the issue only occurs with that one disc, check for scratches and attempt to wipe the disc down with a micro
    fiber cloth. If the issue continues, that disc may need to be replaced.
