    xbox one communication ban


    Hello my Gamertag is and while I was away in college my cousin was using my gamertag for online play in NBA 2K16. And I think he sent out some unfriendly messages. Is it possible if I can get the communication ban off since it wasn't me and
    I cannot connect to xbox live parties with my friends now.

    Is one a communications ban and one an account ban? Or are they both communications bans?

    banning issue

    got communication ban , then today i get online ban for harasment .... hows that possible with an active communication ban... i hate xbox worse system ever wouldnt reccomend it to any one after this scene.....

    Youll have to wait out the ban. It doesnt matter whether it was you or not as your account security is your own responsibility

    If you didnt set it to where your brother would need your password to sign in and he did something to get you banned its still your responsibilty unfortunately.

    If the suspension was for more than 24 hours then you can try filing a case review using the steps listed here:

    But its highly unlikely they will reverse it and will just state the reason i gave above

    that sucks, I probably won't pay for any more xbox live subscriptions now. Valued Customer lost.

    well it is not MS fault somebody else used the account. if you kept him from using it you would not have been suspended. but if you wanna leave that is fine but it has nothing to do with being a loyal customer or not.

    Also Xbox isnt the only one who has the "your account is your own responsibility" stance when it comes to these kind of things.

    They have the same thing on PSN and PC gaming as well.

    As stated previously it has nothing to do with being a loyal customer. Whether you have been an Xbox customer for 1 day or 10 years it doesnt make you or anyone else except from the rules. No one gets special treatment
