Xbox one cold war unable to play hard copy after a reinstall

Same things happened to me and my friend. He just had to unintall his Cold War and reinstall it but for me it says installation stopped too. I try to reinstall it and it just says installation stopped over and over again. However the space that Cold War took up on my hard drive is still there so the 100GB+ plus storage it took for Cold War is still missing from my hard drive for some reason. Ive restarted my xbox and uninstalled games for extra space but it still doesn't work

I just reset my xbox and reinstalled CoD Cold War and it’s still asking me to buy the game i had preorderd the ultimate edition when the game was on preorder and have played since day 1 of Cold War and this has never happend till yesterday

If I may ask, what is the exact error or issue that you're getting whenever you're trying to reinstall the game?

Also, can you play other games that your cousin owns? In that way we can check if it's an issue with the game or the game sharing itself.

I've been having the same problem. I got Madden 25 and Forza 5 and am unable to play both right now. I've tried countless uninstalls/reinstalls, doing installs of the game(s) offline, the cold/hard reset suggested fixes, nothing is getting my games to boot
up. After enjoin NBA 2k14 so much which still works fine, this issue has grown into a pretty nasty one. I'm hoping this is addressed soon.

Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:
