    Xbox one coil whine


    Okay. So, considering how many posts I've made on here in the past few days, I'll make this my last one. Don't want to get annoying or anything, haha.

    But yeah, I had an issue with my disc drive in my og Xbox One. I've fixed it by just keeping a disc in. Fixed the issue. But, another has arose.

    Back when I thought it was more serious, I opened the Xbox up and cleaned it out and what not. I got it in 2013 when it launched, so it's WAY out of warranty.

    After putting it back together, it works fine. But ive noticed that it has WAY more coil whine now. Even on the homepage. If i go on a game, this isnt as bad, however.

    Could I have messed something up when I opened it up? It didnt seem like I did. Or is it just because the console is 6 years old?

    That's where my head is at as well unfortunately, but i think they shouldn't notified owners some how. There's ads all over my dashboard, I'm sure they could've used that space to notify people. Just my opinion obviously. Still interested in a phone call
    though. Know of any way that i can get one?
