xbox one:COD AW download code INVALID

I agree, I didn't order all this to sit here with nothing to play. I know have a Very expensive brick.

I waited to buy the Xbox one until the COD bundle came out.

Also in the same predicament. Called The support line and after a severely long wait a very rude customer service rep tells me "They're working on it" I guess I'm not playing on day zero.

 

game code failed here as well on the spec edition console. Really sad this happens on XB1. Guess the next gen is the same as the previous generations when it comes to first day failure.

 

Overall this is an Activision issue. People on the PS 3&4 having trouble with the codes as well as download speeds.

 

Still no excuse that I can't play the game no?

Incredibly ridiculous. I too feel there better be some sort of compensation for this BS! I didn't spend 600 bucks for nothing. Unreal Xbox! Things never change!

 

I am having the same problem.

 

I am going to have to lean towards aquafresh. It makes sense as to why the code can't be found. It is probably on a time release schedule and the limited edition console bundles were released a day early which I agree is irritating because I too bought it.
But if you look at the digital packet it does say on it Limited Edition Bundle Digital Content. It does not say Day Zero. So It makes sense. It's irritating but it makes sense of the problem itself. Good on ya aquafresh!

 

I have stayed with my xbox 360 for a while because I didn't want to be part of any early rollout issues. I felt like waiting the year for xbox one upgrades and the call of duty bundle was the perfect chance for me to take the plunge into this newer unit.
I listened to the call of duty advertising that instructed me to line up an alibi, take the day off of work, had all my snacks and batteries ready to go for a massive all day playing session with double xp. It's now 8:37 pm my time near the end of the day,
and I have yet to fire a bullet. I spent $450 on a console only to find out that I can't play the game because "We couldn't find your code Try again in a while, or contact the code provider for more info."

The highlight of my day had to be spending 1hr 40 mins waiting for activision to tell me that I need to wait for microsoft to fix the problem. That's about 10 online matches of domination that I sat waiting on the phone. Thanks Microsoft.

Thanks for coming up with the brilliant idea of codes instead of discs. Because what could go wrong with servers, right?

Shall I return my xbox one for a PS4? How about you guys? Want to get a PS4 instead?

 

The Microsoft store definitely says its the "day zero edition" with the bundle but the scratch off code pamphlet looks like its just the normal game addition... Someone give it a go at midnight and see if it goes through.

 

I've been having the same problem. Talked to activision and microsoft. They both practically blamed each other. Microsoft now has that "alert" on the support page that's updating "Every 30 minutes" but that's practically a crapshoot. Missing out on day
zero when that was half the purpose of getting this bundle...could've spent money to wait at the DMV!

 

I just had a kind of breakthrough. when i hit enter and it say code not found... at the botto right it told me i had approx. 2 hours. fyi i am in central time so im guessing that means i can do it at 10:00?

 

Pendant, it was giving you UTC time. It was reporting what time you processed your failure.
