Xbox One Cloud Save for Forza Horizon 2 lost

The other day I went onto Forza Horizon 2 and it started to sync, it took hours upon hours to sync, then loaded a new game, i tried to load again and still a new game.

I have been through all the different steps, power cycle, unplug xbox, try on a different console, reset internet, delete local files and local saved data stuff. I was in a chat with xbox support who referred me to here as they didn't know what to do. They
also said they could find no data on my account for Horizon 2 including Achievements and progress, even though on my account I can view that I have 645 GamerScore with 40 achievements unlocked and 78 hours played. 03/October was my first achievement on EU
release date and last was 23/October.

I have put a lot of effort into this game and am very annoyed It looks like I will lose my gamesave.

Cloud Saved Games Offline?

And now that the cloud is back up, it says that the cloud save for my older son is corrupt in forza horizon. He lost everything. What is the point of paying for a service that is so crappy?

Probably a really easy answer. Two parts.

^^ None of the Forza games are backwards compatible so not point in moving the save to the cloud.

The only 2 Forza games that came out on both platforms are Forza Horizon 2 & Forza Horizon 2 The Fast & the Furious & each version is a separate game so your progress on the 360 version wont carry over to the xbox one version.

All your Forza stats are recorded in the Forza hub app

The same *** thing happened to me. I had completed so many things. All my data is gone and Xbox and Turn 10 don't give a ***. One thing is for sure I am never going to buy a windows product again. If all my data is just going to disappear at the drop of
a hat. I am beyond ***.

Haved your tried to resynced the save on your profile? Sorry if this not big help. I not with my one this time to see this just few consoles. And if I was. I don't have egought memory to played the game. Again I sorry if this not big help. I can't test this
bug on my console. But I hope a fellow XCA can tried reprodues this on there's.

Same thing happened to me, was excited for new content and getting back into some racing and sync failed and all of a sudden im at the intro video with no saved data anywhere.

Hey, guys! I'm very sorry to see that your game save isn't syncing! When this happens, there is nothing more we can do other than what the original poster has suggested as troubleshooting steps. This thread is a little old. If you need assistance with any

Your save is gone i'm afraid.

For some reason Forza 5/Horizon 2 sometimes have an issue syncing with the cloud server,will get to 99% & fail.

If you had tried to sync it again it would of synced properly or given you the option to use an older save.

I feel your pain,i lost a save with about 150 hours worth of gameplay on Forza 5
