    Xbox One clips not working on Minecraft


    When I try to clip things while playing Minecraft, most of the time it doesn’t clip. I clip it, I hold my Xbox button on the controller to open it, it tells me it’s not ready yet and to check back soon, and it never appears. Sometimes it will appear but only have clipped the first 10-15 seconds. I am on an Xbox One S and I clip in 720p. I have 600gb of storage left. It fixes itself if I restart my Minecraft, but it’s annoying having to launch a game twice just to be able to clip things, and sometimes I’ll get quick speedruns and not be able to show proof because my clips won’t work. I have a friend who also has this issue.

    Sound delay on Game DVR?

    I have solved the problem and it's quite simple. First I deleted my old useless clip from Upload but that didn't work, so then I switched off my Xbox One power supply/ turned off my plug and waited 30 seconds and switched it back on. Then I went to Minecraft:
    Xbox One Edition and recorded a clip and there was NO sound delay! Hope this helps :)

    Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with Game Clips. To help clarify the issue a bit more:

    • Is this the only game the feature does not work on?
    • What is the error message you are receiving?
    One thing I recommend to check is the OneDrive memory space. Game clips are usually automatically sent to the OneDrive.

    Upload studio is an app you can download to the Xbox to edit and upload game clips. Try downloading it man and see if you can play your clips or upload them through there.

    i would also look up how to clear the cache of your Xbox one, that might help
    No that does nothing. Clips still play for one second only. Upload studio would suggest that you have a clip that works, mine won't. Clear cache didn't work.

    I have a better and cheaper idea for you. Soon, Minecraft will be released for the Xbox One and those who purchased it on the Xbox 360 will be able to purchase it for reduced price on the Xbox One when it is released.

    The best thing is that you'll be able to port your worlds over to the Xbox One (sorry but no game saves though) when it's released. Then you'll be able to use the consoles built in DVR to record your clips.
