Xbox one clicking and light flashing

If the power cycling your console doesn't solve the issue try resetting the power.

Have you tried unplugging the console for at least 30 seconds and then plugging it back in again. That resets the power supply and hopefully fixes your problem. If the problem persists then your power supply may be faulty and you will likely need to do a
warranty or paid repair depending on how old it is.

Alternatively, your console might be having issues with the internal HDD. If that's the case then again you'd have to consider a warranty or paid repair. Here's something I found that sounds like it might be similar to your issue:

If the console is old enough (eg Day One Xbox One)...then you might want to consider buying a new replacement updated console especially if you can find one on sale. That might be more cost effective especially if you also need a new controller or Microsoft
headset.

You may want to check your power brick. If the light is a different color, you can use this wizard to troubleshoot your problem. Even if your xbox isn't RRODing, click three and it will help with problems with the power brick.
