Xbox one chatpad.

I use the chatpad on the 360 all the time, I just find it better, I leave the chatpad on there all the time.

They seriously need one on the Xbox One. Smartglass is a joke.

Any updates what MS is doing?

Chatpad won't fit XBOXOne S controller

The Xbox360 Chatpad will not fit on any Xbox One controllers. In order to use a chatpad on the Xbox One controllers you will have to buy the Xbox One version of it

There is a Logitech Harmony designed for Xbox One and PS4. You may want to look into that.

well you can use a USB keyboard.. which I find TOTALLY lame.... clearly I should n leave my remote sitting down lonely in that cold area of the couch... seems totally unfair to switch for a wired keyboard WTF!!! I don't know if Microsoft taught that would
be any useful or not.. but... someone need to create one and why would n Microsoft make a keyboard WITHOUT a wire for their console since they been making <<Microsoft brand>> keyboard which could be awesome o pair while surfing (with mouse) on a TV screen????
i don't want to build a desk to play Xbox but anyway... would be a huge improvement for a so called <<next gen>>

i used it for many years on xbox playing Final Fantasy XI and it was the greatest thing I ever bought. its was awesome.

XBOX ONE need a chatpad again

 

My brother just ordered the media remote (and a remote control stand to boot), so I'll have even more functionality for the media aspect of my Xbox One soon enough. I still need to get my hands on a USB keyboard though - that would be nice to have, I think.
Unless of course, I can get my hands on a smartphone or tablet instead.

 

The media remote is nice, really nice actually. And with the new stereo headset, the adapter that has to be put on does add a LITTLE of that desirable counter-weight that I want from a chatpad, but, it still doesn't fix the issue of wanting a fast text-based
messaging option at my fingertips without having to set my controller down or pick something else up. The Xbox one is supposed to be the ultimate entertainment package, why can't the controller reflect that? Why do we have to have a smartphone or a 3rd party
keyboard just to type out a message at a speed that isn't coma inducing?

Please Microsoft, Xbox, Phil Spencer, Major Nelson, whoever reads these at all, get us a chat pad for Xbox One? And please, don't make me choose between it or my stereo headset adapter. Find a way. You guys are smart, you can figure it out.

 

That media remote has a really cool motion sensor built in, so whenever you move it in your hand, it lights up - which makes sense compared to other remotes that have a button to push to make it glow which you can't see in the dark to push anyways...

 

why is there still no chat pad? the xbox one remotes are still flimsy, even more flimsy than my ps3, which is very hard to admit...... but the chat pad on the 360 braced everything right where it needed it..... GIVE ME A CHATPAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

do you mean controller? the xbox controller is far better build quality than the childs controller over the fence!

Why dont people use smartglass instead of worrying about a chatpad?
