XBox One Chat issue, cant hear others in party audio nor can they hear me.

Ever since the April update party chat audio does not work for me, nor game chat for that matter, I cant hear them and they cant hear me. I have 2 wired Xbox chat headsets and one wireless Turtle Beach Stealth 500 headset and they all have the same problem,
except with the Turtle Beach I can hear the game sounds just fine. My NAT is set to open and my Wife's XBOX does not have this problem and she is on the same network, her's is a original Xbox One, mine is the One S bought in November 2016. I tested my headset's
on her Xbox and they work fine so I know it's not an issue with having 3 dead headsets.

If I clear my cache on my Xbox, party chat will work for 2 hours roughly and then I lose audio again. If I want to keep playing with a party then I have to reset my Xbox cache again which is a huge pain, especially if i'm in the middle of a group raid activity
in games such as Destiny or Elder Scrolls.

I only have one profile on my Xbox so it's not an issue of the controller being assigned to the wrong profile, although I have tried logging out and logging back in to my profile and that does not work either, it shows the mic-assigned message when I sign
in and has the icon for it up on the right side of the screen. If I set the audio output to go to my TV then I can hear the others in the party but they still cant hear me, i also do not have a Connect unit so it cant be interfering.

I took the step of doing a reset (keeping games / apps) on my Xbox and the party chat worked for a couple hours and then stopped working again.

Both of my controllers are running the latest FW, and I have re-synced them with my XBOX and ran the software updater on them again even though it shows them as up to date.

I have tried different controller, different headsets, I've even tried my kinect but no mic works. the little right will light up when i'm talking but they cant hear me. i have an open NAT type, I've reset my console and my router multiple times. i am at
a loss on what to do can anybody help?

What brand/model headset are you using? Have you been able to check your

NAT type to ensure it's Open? Also, can you please send us your Detailed Network Stats (Settings>Network>Network Settings>Detailed Network Statistics) as seen on your Xbox One console?

To start out, when you used your Wife's Xbox One, did you test with one of her controllers or did you bring one of your controllers to test? If you used one of her controllers, be sure to test that on your Xbox One to see if there's a change. Also, because
you have to Xbox One consoles connected to the same network, your network hardware may not be able to fully support them. What is the make and model of your router?

 

I will give her controller a try and see if that changes anything. As far as network router goes, it is a NetGear Nighthawk dual band system. And my headphones have this problem whether or not she is online so i'm not sure the router would have anything
to do with it, again this was never a problem until the April update and my network infrastructure has been in place since mid-last year.

 

I went out and bought a brand new controller and after about 20min the headset chat audio stopped working so it's not the controllers.

Just to make sure, do you have UPNP enabled on your network? If not, be sure to enable that and test party chat again. Let us know

To clarify, did enabling UPNP work or was it already enabled? Just making sure to clarify. Are you also able to test a wired connection to see if there's any change?

 

UPNP has always been enabled, I will try the wired connection.

I gave wired a try and it made no difference. The collection of headsets I have work for about 20 minutes and then stop working.
