Xbox one chat and home page issues. (possible preview program issue)

Im having lots of trouble with my xone right now, i cannot chat to anyone online anymore i can hear everyone fine but they cant hear me, my home page is completely blank nothing in the store or info and no videos no anything. I called up support and got
very basic tips on how to help such as turning pad on and off and resetting xbox all of which did not help. I am also in the preview program but cannot access the preview forum or app. Please help i have been a customer of xbox live for many years and this
is the most disappinted iv ever been with it i feel like no one is trying to solve this for me.

A new update of the Xbox One is in preview; improves the party chat

Please note that Microsoft has just released a new update for the participants in the Xbox preview programme One; as mentioned previously, for December are not particularly important updates, and this goes to settle some issues relating to the group chat. As always, who is part of the preview can download it manually from the system settings and then take part in the various tests/surveys provided by the program's preview app.

It could be one of several issues. Have you tried power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down?

Also, there are changes coming to the chat system (as per Major Nelson) where the party chat will be on dedicated servers. Now if anyone from your party is in the preview program they will be testing this feature. If someone in their party is not in the
preview then the party system will default to the regular party system. However, it may be possible that the preview (if you are in it) may be causing issues with normal party chat with others.

To clarify, is this friend enrolled in the
Update Preview via the Xbox Insider Program? There's currently an active investigation into an issue in the latest preview build which can interfere with arty chat if one of the members of the party chat is on a preview update.
