    Xbox One chat adater


    I recently stepped away from my controller and it turned itself off like it always does when you let it sit there long enough, but this time when i returned my chat adapter wouldnt turn on anymore. i unplugged it and plugged it back in and nothing.
    even reset my cache. anyone experience this before? or any tips. or am i just gonna have to buy a new one, ive had this adapter since Day One Xbox.

    I agree with you hofosim, Also you mentioned a broke wire that was help by tape. More then likly the connections are loose or not make contact. I recently had this problem and I just bought new ones. You might try soldering the two connection together to
    make it more secure. Also i have heard that XBOX A/V adaters can go bad also.

    Console keeps freezing

    clean all vents to xbox, clean xbox power adater, it has vents for cooling, try to remove all usb devices and game- kinect and flash drives, also remove hard drive and see if it makes any different. if it does, try clearing cache to all storage devices,
    maybe redownload profile and turnoff auto sign it. check hard drive for corrupted files - saves - videos - profiles. back up saves and important files and maybe reformat xbox hard drive. let us know happenes

    You are correct CodeMonkey05, However I just sold a USB adater that you plug into a USB port and is Internet ready. Here's what I would do Abys. I would go to walmart and buy a wireless router for 50.00 (decent one) and then get the wifi adapter from xbox
    and you should be golden. I had this problem before. And unfortunally there is no other solution to this. Please let me know if I can further assist you. I have about 10 15 years exp in computer field. I will do what I can.

    Roblox Chat on Xbox

    Xbox uses voice chat (party chat). There is no text chat in Roblox on Xbox One. It was removed awhile back.

    We have two consoles in the house - an Xbox One X and an Xbox One S in the kids room. I have no trouble chatting with them (either via game chat or party chat)
