Xbox One chat adaptor - need a replacement 3.5mm to 2.5mm adaptor

I'd recommend saving up for an elite controller, and an adaptor 2.5mm to 3.5mm should work there is 2 types though, ctia and omtp.

Yes the x11's will work with the xbox one with the headset adaptor, all it does is convert the 2.5mm input to the 3.5mm stereo input on the xbox one controller. Just make sure you update the xbox one controller.

yeah if you get the xbox one stereo headset adaptor that plugs into your controller then it comes with a cable which will reduce the 3.5mm jack on the Tritton headset to 2.5mm

Once you have the stereo headset adaptor connected up make sure you change the game/chat mix to 100% chat mix so that you only get chat coming through the stereo headset adaptor - if you forget to do this you will be getting the Dolby digital game sound
coming from the Xbox Ones optical output and also the stereo version of the game sound coming through the stereo headset adaptor in your controller - and you don't want that

To change the mix just press and hold the chat button on the stereo headset adaptor until you hear it beep which lets you know you maxed that channel out to 100% chat/0% game

and as above make sure to switch your optical output to bitstream and dolby digital to get the good stuff
