    XBOX ONE Chat Adaptor for use of any compatible headsets


    I recently purchased a ' XBOX ONE Chat Adaptor for use of any compatible headsets' - the problem im having and noticing is that if I pull out my audio jack and then reinsert it, it restarts my xbox one games, this has happened on spartan **** and
    FIFA 14.

    It it is how ever intermittent - I've updated my controller and chat adaptor how ever even with resetting back factory settings the issue is still there..

    the headsets I use is the official xbox 360 chat headset as well as my Turtle beach xp400 with chat cable.

    No chat on turtle beach x12 headset with headset adapter.

    It's not true. They are perfectly compatible and is listed but with Xbox One headset adaptor. What you have to do is Press chat balance in the xbox one adaptor until you hear a tone. You must regulate between TV sound and chat.

    It's not difficult and it's perfectly compatible.

    i was planning to buy an xbox one headset adaptor and was just ondering if it would work with my headset that i use for music .i am not interested in the chat volume and am only interested in the game volume .also my headset does not support chat . so will
    i b able to use it with the adaptor

    Hi, as far as I'm aware, the headsets need to go directly into the controller. The controller does not support an actual USB port, but instead a USB-type port that is compatible with the official Microsoft headset, and those who use the Xbox One Stereo Headset
    adaptor.

    I can't seem to find any adaptors that allow actual USB headsets to plug into the controller. I would say that your headset may not work with your Xbox One.

    Hi Demonic 445,

    The Xbox One S controller does not need an adaptor and any headset that has a 3.5mm cable should work. Although I would always choose a headset that is ‘for Xbox’ as it rules out any issues with compatibility.
