Xbox One Chat Adapter jack broken... again.

Hello everyone, my Xbox One Chat Adapter jack is broken, again. I would not like to wait 2 weeks for a replacement unity, instead i would like to buy a better 2.5 to 3.5 jack.

I've previously bought an adapter (and made sure it had 3 black lines on the male part of the jack), but it's not working. Am I missing something? Can someone say to me something that can help me looking for a working jack adapter?

What kind of connection protocol should i look for?

Popping noise/audio breakout sennheiser g4me one

just got my Xbox one and have plugged my headset straight into the 3.0mm jack on the controller using the adapter for the headset that makes the green and pink jack into one single 3mm jack, and when In party chat I get this annoying popping audio noise
and it wont go away, what's causing it? Will I need the stereo chat adapter.

The Xbox 360 wireless chat headset with BT is supported on Xbox One. There will be an adapter in the future for headsets that have the 2.5mm jack for chat audio.

 

i am looking for the same, i know that it has to be a 2.5mm female to 3.5mm male, 4 pole TRSS adapter. Similar to the ones used for phones. I cannot find one in the UK anywhere.

 

In the end, i sent my Xbox One Chat Adapter to the MS repair center... they will replace it for free, even if your warranty it's over. They know that the cable is not that good :\ STILL looking for a good cable...
